10-Ton Meteor Strikes Russia; Shockwave Injures Nearly 1,000

In a scene any big-budget Hollywood film would crave, a 10-ton meteor blasted Central Russia on Friday morning.

It traveled at least 33,000 mph and the deafening shockwave caused glass to shatter and car alarms to blast. Around 950 people were injured.
